Body-Jet®, State of the Art Water-Jet Assisted Liposuction Technology to be Featured on Lifetime Television Network, The Balancing Act
(Dallas, Texas) Eclipsemed Ltd, a leading national distributor of advanced medical and aesthetic equipment, and Human Med AG, of Germany, a leading manufacturer of medical and aesthetic devices have announced that its Body-Jet, water-jet assisted liposuction technology will be featured on the Lifetime Network’s The Balancing Act, a magazine style program targeting women and women’s issues. The program will air on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 (7am EST/PST, 6am CST) and is entitled New Innovations In Liposuction: A New Standard That Offers Less Risk, Downtime & Discomfort.
The Body-Jet procedure will be performed by Roger Bassin, M.D., oculoplastic surgeon and liposuction expert of the Bassin Center for Facial Plastic Surgery in Melbourne and Orlando Florida. Dr. Bassin will be shown performing a hip sculpting procedure with the Body-Jet on two sisters Joy Radeau, 51 and Jill Hagood, 42. Dr. Bassin had previously used the Body-Jet technology to sculpt Jill’s abdomen. She was so pleased that she brought her sister Joy back so they could both have their hip rolls removed.
Body-Jet (www.mybodyjet.com) provides a novel approach to removing fat by utilizing a gentle and controlled sequence of pulsed sprayed saline to dislodge fat cells. This new approach affords a less traumatic liposuction experience for patients with often times less discomfort and downtime, quick healing and visibly precise results. In many cases general anesthesia is not necessary. Additionally, the science behind Body-Jet’s method of water-jet assisted liposuction allows for better assessment of new contours during surgery which greatly reduces the number of corrective procedures that need to be performed.
Over 1500 Body-Jet procedures have been performed successfully worldwide and physicians and surgeons are currently being trained throughout the U.S.
Check local listings for airtime to see Dr. Bassin perform the Body-Jet procedure on The Balancing Act on Lifetime.
